Our collection includes a few thousand items from 1905 until today:
35mm cameras, 16mm cameras, film editing tables, sound recorders, tube amplifiers, projectors (8mm, 9,5mm, 16mm, 35mm), telecines, grading suites, crossbars, denoisers, video-recorders (several formats), capture cards, computers, RAIDs, scanners, printers...... just to name a few.
Members of Geek's home have full acces to the whole collection and the people who know the machines or have worked with them in the past.
At the moment Geek's home does not have an exhibition room, so all machines in our collection are currently crammed into a storage room or in our members' attics. This is why we have no item list yet.
The indexing of our machines, Software and documentation started in April 2014 and progresses kind of slow at the moment due to our lack of space. We are looking for volunteers to help us drag everything out of our storage room, take photos of it, research background infos and enter all information into our database. If you want to help us, please contact us.
If you can help us find a location in or near Munich, germany, please contact us.
